Shelby Natasha is a Seattle-based songwriter and music producer whose sound blends alt-R&B and Chinese folk music. Influenced by her upbringing between China and the Pacific Northwest, her ethereal vocals are accompanied by the traditional Chinese instrument, Guzheng, and layered over lo-fi beats. Shelby Natasha is a Seattle-based songwriter and music producer whose sound blends alt-R&B and Chinese folk music. Shelby's performance career began with Sofar Sounds, where she has played over 100 shows across the United States, and she has gone on to perform at festivals and venues across the country such as Belltown Bloom (May 2024), Oregon Country Fair (2025), Portland Folk Fest (2025), Northwest Folklife (2025), Any Patch of Grass (2025), Imagine Festival (2025), Doe Bay Artist in Residence (Aug 2024). She has also played support slots for East Forest @ St Marks Cathedral and Simrit @ TOC.
