Artist Bio

Shelby Natasha is a Seattle-based songwriter and music producer whose sound blends alt-R&B and Chinese folk music. Influenced by her upbringing between China and the Pacific Northwest, her ethereal vocals are accompanied by the traditional Chinese instrument, Guzheng, and layered over lo-fi beats. Shelby's performance career began with Sofar Sounds, where she has played over 100 shows across the United States, and she has gone on to perform at festivals and venues across the country such as Belltown Bloom (May 2024), Songwriters Showcase @ Portland Folk Fest (January 2024), ACES showcase @ KEXP (Aug 2024), Doe Bay Artist in Residence (Aug 2024), Duwamish River Festival (Aug 2024), Song Suffragettes @ The Listening Room Cafe, Nashville (Nov 2023), Open Folk @ Hotel Cafe (Sep 2024).
